DLR73 DLR73 left the Talbot factory in London in December 1936 as a Talbot AZ100 Limousine. It served initially as the private transport of a Mrs Gibson of Cheltenham, and later was re-registered as a hearse. The original body was removed to allow it to be used next as a builder’s truck. Rescued from a Cornish tin mine in 2006 as a pile of rusty metal, this amazing vehicle has been restored in the style of the 1934 Alpine Trial team cars that won the Coupe des Alpes. Now used extensively for historic rallies and tours, with much silverware to show for it.
