VDP BOOK - SOURCE

James Fack dec2018 - I can now fill-in the following for you:

Ch. no: 33632; engine no: AW 231; reg. no: APA 440.

Del'd: 11/32; reg'd (in Surrey): 11/32. First owner: G.G. Wood, of Weybridge

All this, in turn, makes the car 1932 and not 1933.
this was the prototype AW 90 VdP
Alpine tourer - which is what it was, being the only one to VdP design
no. 776 rather than 846, and having the shallow rear-hinged doors to
to prove it.

It used exactly the same VdP body as the prototype AV 105 tourer, to
design no. 776 and featuring shallow, rear-hinged doors. Unlike the
former however, it had a Wilson 'box - as Mr Wood's letter to 'The
Motor' makes perfectly clear.
